The College of Business Administration offers undergraduate and graduate programs. The undergraduate programs are: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with specialization either in Business Economics or Entrepreneurial Marketing. The graduate program in Master in Business Management offers the following specialization areas on Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing and Production Management.

CBAA Special features & regular events

  1. Newsletter – The Institute campus-wide organization publishes the SILAHIS while the college-based quarterly newsletter is the Banwag. For the former, the DSA conducts an examination to determine its editorial board membership while  for the Banwag, its student editorial board members are recommended by the CBAA-Execom. The Department of Accountancy newsletter is the Journal Entry. The newsletter is published twice each semester and financed from the special student assessment upon enrollment. The editorial board members are selected by the JPIA organization and the adviser of the Publication. On the other hand, JEMSSpeaks is  the newsletter of the Junior Entrepreneurial Marketing Society funded by its member-students.
  2. Major College and Institute Activities – Every student in the College is expected to graduate the course with a balanced and well-rounded personality.
  3. Attendance and participation to the various College and Institute activities are considered as equally important as the purely academic oriented activities.

All CBA students are therefore enjoined to actively participate in the following College and Institute activities:

  1. CBA Day – celebrated on July 4 & 5 every year. Highlights include College Palakasan and Acquaintance Party. Attendance of all CBA students is required.
  2. JS Prom – held on February of every year, this is a formal affair requiring attendance of all 3rd year and 4th year students.
  3. Seniors’ Week – observed usually during the week prior to graduation, this includes activities such as the conduct of Entrepreneurship Seminar, socials – (Ring Hop), pre-employment preparation.
  4. Job Fair – a campus-wide activity coordinated by the Guidance and Counseling Office wherein representatives of major perspective employers talk about job opportunities.
  5. Career Consciousness Week
    1. Accountancy Week - 3rd week of July
    2. Marketing Week - 4th week of July
    3. Economics Week - 1st week of August
  6. Charter Day – an institute-wide celebration on July 12. Student activities include sports, cultural and literary competitions and exhibits.
  7. Institute Palakasan – an Institute activity for the celebration of the founding of the Mindanao State University, where the colleges and schools of the institute will compete in sports, cultural and literary competitions and exhibits This is held every last week of August up to the first days of September.
